Taylor Hawkins of the Foos will be Iggy Pop in a movie about CBGB

Several filmmakers have spent several months working hard on a film focused on the history of CBGB, New York music venue that was located at 315 Bowery between 1973 and 2006 and still today is considered the club's flagship music the history of NY. The film aims to reconstruct reliably the lived within those four walls so the director Randall Miller has signed actors like Alan Rickman ("Harry Potter"), Mickey Sumner (from "The Borgias" who plays Patty Smith) or ...Taylor Hawkins! The drummer of the Foo Fighters has been appointed as the interpreter to make the Iggy Pop character in this highly anticipated film.

Checking IMDB tab we proved that Taylor has not acted so far in any series / movie. The film "CBGB" will be a good opportunity for the Rubiales nice to test some acting skills already glimpsed, at least minimally, in some of the music of Foo Fighters. Sure behind the hostess buenorra of 'Learn To Fly' hides a pretty decent player.

"CBGB" is in pre-production so it is believed that the film was not released until well into 2013.
