Layer by layer. Epoch by epoch, the Munich-based artist Christian grinds Leitna by sediments from paint, silicone, exterior paint, blood, sweat and tears. In Munich in the project space dyeing Claude-Lorrain-Str. 25 plays of 22 June to 1 July Leitna Christian's current project, "Colorblind." The dye house is a house of the youth culture "Kreisjugendring" Munich. For many years, the dye is a project space for street art and graffiti artists. Over time, the murals of the respective artists and the subsequent repainting the walls with white paint an unexpected layer thickness have left.
Christian dares Leitna an unprecedented expedition through the inch-thick layer of graffiti and Streetartkultur 13 years. Simple exposure can thrive long-forgotten treasures to a new image.
On the other hand, uses Christian Leitna the screen to alienate current images from the media layer by layer. The distorted reality presents itself on a very fragile glass layer. Two independent work, a theme. Contrary and contradictory Leitnas work is aimed at our naive Wegstreich Society - characterized by short life and a distorted relationship to reality.
