Vampire Weekend have a new album "80 percent"

They were the sensation of 2008 and the public finished crown them with a "Contra" which reached a stunning numbers in the charts of half the world. Nevertheless Vampire Weekend did not want to accommodate and so are already finalizing a new studio album, in the words of singer Ezra Koenig to the magazine The Fader, is now "80 percent" from being over.

"We are working on the album. It is a very long process "- Koenig said in the American publication. "We always want to write and record together. We work on a Protools session in demo version which tends to be the final product to be launched. I think right now we have closed 80 percent of the subjects that post. "This is great news, and more knowing that Chris Baio and Rostam have already completed some of the personal projects / collaborative in which we were working. Now we just have to see when we can enjoy the successor of "Contra". We focus on a date close to the beginning of 2013, what about you?
