On stage, perform the following bands:

Bluekilla - Munich since 1985, making the nine-ska music. Your groovy Soud klint exactly as you imagine sicch music and life in Jamaica

SHAMAN'S PROJECT - "Sevdah"-a Musikrichtug from the Balkans is sung poetry. The six boys bring the unknown here, according to the peoples of Southeastern Europe but extremely more present style, Germany.

Pale Spectres - Perfect for Sarah Records

Commercial was the small British label Sarah Records at that time probably not such a big success - the more surprising how many good bands they spawned ... and that the sound of the Field Mice, etc. still enjoys great popularity with new bands. Such as in the French-English Pale Spectres Act. Yes, they have been named to The Wake. And they sound very Sarah-esque, or as a mixture of Language of Flowers and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. Her first song "Helen of Troy" is certainly a very flattering ear issue - and also free!

Concerts At The Drive-In and Miles Kane in the FIB

Just yesterday afternoon we arrived in Barcelona after enjoying the Festival Internacional de Benicassim. This edition has had controversies of all kinds but it is undeniable that there has been support acts for all tastes. Two more have caught the attention of viewers have been those made by At The Drive-In and Miles Kane, two diametrically opposed entities rockers but also enjoyable.

The first shot of pure muscle in his performance but their small set of only 35-minute frankly knew very little of it may offer the band. Moreover Miles Kane got cause delirium with songs like 'Arranged' or 'Come Closer' despite the difficulty involved playing at eight o'clock, and the sky still well lit and clear.

You can enjoy two full concerts below. Thanks to Terra to offer a streaming service of such high quality! Many were the people who could follow the proceedings from their own homes.

Let creativity run free

Colours of Africa

At last! Having now almost desperate and depressed wanted to hang on a nail on blogging, I've still found a place of free creativity. Here I can write my posts from now on, relax and reflect on the world. An indescribable feeling, I've finally beaten in the recent article Nothing going on, not fancy, and even less motivation hands over his head. Nothing - neither musical ideas, yet sarcastic pamphlets about our consumerism & Co - would appear on the screen. Here, the restructuring of the site had begun with the introduction of the current period column as well.

The balcony. Who would have thought that I can draw on the balcony of new ideas. Especially beautiful and inspiring the evening, shortly before the sun disappears behind the horizon. Since I've been trying to capture those moments with my camera, I want to kidnap for nearly six minutes.

It's all about the light!

Before you can submit an idea or a better view from my balcony over the city rooftops, it is advisable to follow the track to run - In keeping with the title of this post.

Dawn Benjamin Francis Leftwich acoustic

They are the most intimate moments that end up falling in love with music. Proceedings at close range, where we perceive in the first person who is living the sensations that figure, some time ago, wrote this beautiful melody in the four walls of your home or studio. That feeling of attachment and love has come back to us after hearing the acoustic performance in Benjamin Francis Leftwich performed 'Do not Go Slow' in a beautiful native of York first thing in a cold morning.

The simplicity of his compositions is more than obvious, but also the sincerity and transparency make them special to all parts of "Last Smoke Before The Snowstorm". If you have not heard this album I strongly recommend you to try to give it a listen. It's magical what follows to enjoy '1904 ',' Box Of Stones' or 'Atlas Hands', as if to put the play, we could go back to the autumn season despite being in the middle half of July. Anyone to remove this unusual power to this beloved British boy.

Free and very good: Nirvana's "Nevermind" as "full album art" of covermesongs.com

Full Album Cover - Nevermind - Cover Me

These days, everyone seems to skip over Nirvana's Nevermind album, released almost exactly 20 years ago (on 24 September 1991) in the United States. To be honest, I never was a big Nirvana fan (and I'm not there today), I have the grunge wave in the early 1990s ignored: I found the music on album length tiring easily bored. But even though nothing has changed in my attitude is not much I have since learned that Nevermind was actually one of the most important albums in the rock business - maybe not so much on the material, what was it, but above all, of the effect of this should be based on the following album musicians generations.

The information I cherished cover versions of website Cover Me has already been a few years ago a full album cover of Nevermind, with contributions from Patti Smith, Caetano Veloso, Animal Collective, Ill Nino, the UK Subs released, and another (another full album cover of Nevermind, I've posted a few weeks ago here). Some of these versions are surprisingly good (and surprisingly different musical) and get the best part: You do not necessarily like the original in order to enjoy these versions can.

With almost forty Lenzen belongs to the venerable old NAS ranks of U.S. rappers. The age you could tell Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, under the name he was born in 1973 in Queens, to his gig with no backstage. Sebatian Gabriel was, as always with his camera so close that you can see the sweat dripping.

Free and very good: Essential Classics with the Carmina Burana

# I musicological my Google Analytic statistics, the classical music of my article "Free and very good" article series are the ultimate in long-running blog. Well then, so be it: How about one of the most popular choral works of the 20th Century?

The Carmina Burana is a collection of medieval Latin, Middle High German, Old French and Provencal texts. In the 1930s, Carl Orff (1895-1982), some Latin and Middle High German texts set to music from this collection. With the premiere in 1937 began to conquer the scenic cantata. Especially the opening set of O fortuna is used by many (as in the advertising Nestlé chocolate) part of popular culture in the 20th First century.

On the pages of the Free Music Archive, there is a very decent recording of the MIT Concert Choir under the direction of Dr. William Cutter. The files are as good 192 kbps MP3s for download with a free and CC-BY-NC-equipped 3.0 License.

Who has not yet Carmina Burana CD is well served with this download (and please do not just listen to the opening sentence;-))

Tip: On the home page of the choir, there are many other major choral works, which can be downloaded free of charge. For newcomers to the classical music world is a good opportunity to look for free listening, sorry.

Vampire Weekend have a new album "80 percent"

They were the sensation of 2008 and the public finished crown them with a "Contra" which reached a stunning numbers in the charts of half the world. Nevertheless Vampire Weekend did not want to accommodate and so are already finalizing a new studio album, in the words of singer Ezra Koenig to the magazine The Fader, is now "80 percent" from being over.

"We are working on the album. It is a very long process "- Koenig said in the American publication. "We always want to write and record together. We work on a Protools session in demo version which tends to be the final product to be launched. I think right now we have closed 80 percent of the subjects that post. "This is great news, and more knowing that Chris Baio and Rostam have already completed some of the personal projects / collaborative in which we were working. Now we just have to see when we can enjoy the successor of "Contra". We focus on a date close to the beginning of 2013, what about you?

We take this post to present the music video of 'Sunburn Modern' that bassist Chris Baio has recently released to promote their EP "Sunburn" (Greco-Roman). Refreshing as could be, the subject is perfectly summery vibration that has the disk and can be heard from now through Spotify.
