Josh Klinghoffer's life has turned 180 degrees from the time the guitarist agreed to be a substitute for Frusciante Red Hot Chili Peppers. A new album ("I'm With You", about which I talked about in his day), multiple tours throughout the world, promotional events ... Well, the thing that has changed completely in a matter of months. Yet the reasons behind Josh continues its activities outside the group, and that is precisely what has led him to work on "Inhibition", their debut album side project Dot Hacker.
May 1 is the day which will be released on LP in a compact quartet that played so through your MySpace, reaches a certain sound raspy and powerful thanks to getting good play with effects pedals. For if you go a little curiosity: it is possible to download two songs for free ("Order / Disorder 'and' Inhibition ') and you can see the live version of the first theme via YouTube (attached below). To us it sounds a bit like Deerhunter with a tiny dose of Tame Impala sound in its formula. What about you?
The definition of the sound of Dot Hacker should not be a surprise to anyone Exclaim.ca people has revealed that all group members have gained momentous roles in diguras renowned bands like Gnarls Barkley, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Street Sweeper social Club (the draft Tom Morello and Boots Riley) and Broken Bells. Knowing this we can expect more than correct this great gift that will give us the good of Klinghoffer in a matter of only 15 days.
